In 1985 Dennis Sibley made his first reel of applied lead strip in the UK. In the years to come, thousands of windows in both residential and commercial buildings throughout the world were clothed with the product. The quality of the product emerged from all its competitors and became the best product in its class.

Ten years later Dennis initiated research to put a coating on the lead in order to bring the product into the 21st Century. The result was a coating that colors the lead surface and protects it from the bad effects of weathering and oxidation, which was named Classic Antique Lead Strip. After two years of research, development and marketing, it soon became a very wanted product.

Our Classic Antique lead strip is now used on such high profile projects as Yale University, Notre Dame University, Cornell University, University of Connecticut, Elmira College NY, and many more.
